Real Media & (Alt + PrtSc)
 

Folks:



I am using Real Media Player to view a video. From time to time I would like
to grab a snapshot of the Real Media screen .
I usually use (Alt + PrtSc) to grab my snap shots. However ,after pasting
the Real Media snapshot into Microsoft Word,
there is NOT the usual image of a static graphics file. Instead, I have the
image of a dynamic/moving video in Word, rather than the normal/static
graphics image.

* Is there a way to get a
normal/static graphics image from Real Media video (using Alt PrtSc) ?

Real Media & (Alt + PrtSc)
 

Try a program called IRFANVIEW to extract frames from video,
it is free. Then just insert the frame from the clip.

I'm not sure about Realplayer, but I know with Windows Media Player if you
want to take a screencap you need to turn off video acceleration.

Right click on your desktop, go to properties, settings, advanced, and click
on the troubleshooting tab. Lower the video acceleration to none, click
apply and ok. You should be able to capture screens.

Make sure to go back and adjust your video acceleration back up to where it
was after you do this.
