works resume cv

I have used works resume cv to type a resume. (works 7.0)
I did a test run and sent it to a company a friend is
working at. He says that when he trys to open it all
he gets is o's and squares. I then sent it to where
I work (plant is closing) and I to get o's and squares.
What can I do to be able to send a resume where the
company I am sending it to can open and read it?
resume cv saves it as .*wps.

Glen cogitated deeply and scribbled thusly:

Both companies are probably using Word not Works. Use "Save AS" when you
save your resume and save it as a Microsoft WORD document not Works.
