downloading the .inf from the HP CD the problem was solved.

user/guest is disconnecting,
the administrator will loose the monitor and has to manually turn off the

Brand new HP Pavillon A1560N XP SP2 Multi Midia Addition; Monitor HP VS 17
flat.
In device manager there are twomonitors listed; getting rid of one doesn't
work it will come up again at restart....
