windows xp sp2 loads desktop then freezes
I think the mouse is not the issue here; it just coincident. You may have
problem with system files. There was some kind of error, your friend did
not tell you about or did not see it.

I need your help.
I have Compaq PC which is made by HP. We did not use the software that
came with it; we used our own Win XP. The system worked fine for over 2
years.
