I downloaded the Speech SDK 5.1, but it didn't help.

Can't open cab file

When I try to open a cabinet file, XP uses notepad to open it.

I tried regsvr32 %windir%\system32\cabview.dll with no luck.

Append to modem log not working

I have the append to box checked for my modem log, but the log file is
not appended but merely starts a new one each time I use the modem.
