The speakers definitely have power, like i said in an earlier post I
have plugged them straight into another computer and they worked fine,
with the only thing that i changed was plugging the audio...

Yeah I am definetly using the same port. I have another interesting
twist to this though, I just plugged in the sound card from my old PC
that I had just had these speakers plugged into last night...

Yes the speakers that I am using are powered and yes they are plugged
in, like I said they work when I simply plug the output cable into my
old computer without changing anything else.
