That is certainly one (uncompressed) audio codec used in DVDs, though not
too often (AC3 is more common now, as it uses compression). Personally I
don't have any DVDs that were encoded to...

MPEG2 is the video codec (shown top right). You should look for the audio
codec info, towards bottom left, under Audio

You don't say if you tried gspot, as I suggested previously. But that should
tell you which codecs are used, and you can then check whether you have it.

Why would you want to remove it? It is there so that you will have mouse

How can I remove a permanent block on a program's connecting to the Internet?

What antivirus program are you using? Most would have an option somewhere to
undo the blocking you allowed it to perform, so check that.

Do as I suggested for MPM, right click on on any tif file, open with, etc.,
but select Windows Picture and Fax viewer as the app to always open with.
