\\Comptername asks for login password?
I have two computer (1 Desktop and 1 Laptop) and both are running on Windows
XP. Laptop runs on my business domain with my Desktop is on WORKGROUP.
when i type in \\computername it asks for login...

Cant Access \\Computername\c$
Sometimes the command prompt gives better error messages.
From the machine you are trying to connect from, bring up a command
window (Start-Run-Cmd) and enter the command:
net use *...
