At friends home.

Epson Workforce 840 printer

Set up Win 7 PC (and Win XP) with latest Epson download.

Epson SW says it sees the printer and diagnostics say OK.

It is set as the Default printer.

Win XP Pro disk died!
Old but favorite laptop. USB2 only.
CD seems to work.
Lots of RAM.

MS Win XP CD says cannot recover. Rats!

Tried Macrium Reflect 5.1 and it would not see my network...

Update: Uninstall Panda

Found another uninstaller that set stuff up and required a boot to do
the work.

Took a chance.

Have NovaStor NovaBackup.

It allows creation of a CD/DVD or USB disaster recovery boot.

I would choose USB since it is easier to carry around.
