Video File Types

WVX files are not video files so of course they won't import into WMM.
Find the video that the WVX file points to by opening it in notepad (WVX is
only a file redirector that points to a WMV...

Agreed
4 hours may seem like a long time but a slower burn speed tends to make for
a more error free DVD so it isn't unreasonable.

MPG files don't work well if at all in Movie Maker.
Convert them to AVI first and import the AVI's
