I vaguely remember a tweak that varied the number of recents shown. Can't
remember if it was a registry setting, or similar, or an add-on.

I seem to be remembering something of the same....

Not all softwares are configurable as you would have imagined.

Thats a possibility, yes. But it isn't a conclusion I normally start with.

Ralph,

It was designed (by Netscape) to be an export/import format, not a
format for viewing as HTML.

But they still kept the .html file extension. Thats not in any way creating
expectations...

I think it's because it's a Netscape Bookmark specific HTML.

... and thus should not assume other browsers wil be able to read-and-display
it. Which ofcourse does away with a nice part of...
