So you mean change the setting in the bios from boot up from disk to boot
from CD ?

Have tried this but it keeps coming up saying that Vista version is newer
version than XP and will not proceed.

I have tried to reformat my Vista back to Win XP but the computer is having
none of it, can anyone tell me how to get round a new install.
