no sound on some DVDs

Can someone please explain why some DVDs have sound in the latest XP Media
Player and sometimes I have no sound, but I always have video.

Is it possible codecs are causing this?

Explorer crashes

FYI

Are you using NAV or SAV?

I just got the following from symantec chat line regarding this same issue
that we are having with 6 machines.

Our error various between both explorer and iexplorer...
