Any problems with Windows 7 XP mode?
It doesn't necessarily follow that programs designed for WinXp will not run
when installed on Win7. I have a number that run fine.

Well Defender has been superseded by Security Essentials, so not really
relevant.
I haven't had any issues with UAC, Indexing, or Autoupdate which in any case
I amended to Critical only.

controller floppy.
Although if you have the Dell utility disk the 'make sata floppy' may be on
the disk
