Disk Image

I use Macrium and back up copies of the images to an external USB
flash drive. Takes about 3 minutes / GB to copy to the flash.

I also use Macrium to create an emergency boot CD.

Just Stick with Windows 10!

My 16 bit apps : 28 QB45 and 14 VB 3 .

All significant and important.

All my programming prior to VB 6 .

10 Sucks !

I'm staying happily with 7 .

I occasionally ask for one good reason to go to 10 and nobody has
given one. Lots of good reasons NOT to go to 10 !

SSD Defrag ?

Appreciate all the info, but not sure I have a clear answer.

Is there no issue at all, accessing a very fragmented file, compared
to accessing an unfragmented file, on an SSD ?

BackUp for HD Replacement

Thanks all for great info.

I went with Macrim Reflect to a USB flash drive.

I had been doing backups of critical data to CD,
but wanted something easy to cover the whole PC.
