I have the MS MVP hosts file installed and have been using a hosts file
updater to keep it current.

For some reason,. my Avast AV software has begun to recognize this updater

I have done a system restore and reinstalled the update and yet the same one
fails. It will download approximately 10% (according to the mouseover data
given by the update shield in the system...

I have tried three times to install Security Update for Windows XP
(KB944338) and three times the installation has failed.

I do not kow why as the other 3 updates offered at the same time...

How to reinstall failed updates??

I have discovered that I have 2 XP Home updates from February that are
listed as "Failed" in my Windows update log. I would like to correct the
situation by installing them but I can't locate them...
