Yes, S-video is of higher quality since the color signal is separate from
the B&W video signal, however the NTSC resolution standard for both of them
is the same

The NTSC standard for S-Video or Yellow composite video in North America is
SD 480i. The Red cable is for right channel audio and the white cable is
for left channel audio.

is it possible for one driver to be for both 32bit and 64bit OS?

All you are doing when you select to load an unsigned driver from a major
vendor such as Nvidia or ATI is speed up the time the time to get the
driver son your system since there is a delay...

If you have an unsigned Vista 64 bit driver you can select "load unsigned
driver" from the F8 boot menu so you can load it.

SFF pc for use with TV

Certainly getting a new PC with Vista Home Premium, which includes MC, and
a TV tuner is probably your lease expensive path.
However, I am not sure that the Netbook models are configured with these...
