Does your Win10 have a third-party AV installed ?
No, just Defender.

It's not just while searching although searching seems to initiate the
problem. It continues to build on how much of the CPU it uses even after
completing a search request and it is idle.

REGEDIT Hogging CPU
When I run Regedit my CPU maxes out during a search. What's even worse is
that CPU usage continues to climb as long as Regedit is running (even when
idle)???

Homegroup and Windows 10?
Is anyone looking at Homegroup in Windows 10? It seems to have all the same
bugs as Win 8 and 7 did. Can't create a homegroup can only join one.

Problems with windows search
I moved my download folder to my larger E:Drive and off of my smaller SSD
boot disk. So File Explorer is more or less just pointing to E:\downloads
Now when I search for files in my Download folder...

System Reserved Disk Problem
C-Drive is 150GB SSD
USB drives are 320 and 500Gb respectively. Neither works.
I thought I read somewhere there are problems cloning a regular disk to an
SSD
or maybe it was vice-versa???
