I decided to do a disk check for my 2 internal hard drives, so I ran Windows
explorer, went to C:, right clicked, properties and chose check volume for
errors, with the first checkbox enabled.

unwanted desktop cleaning help
Once in a wile a message window of some 'desktop cleaning wizzard' (had to
translate) pops up stating that I have non-used icons. Is this some sort of
monitorring Windows service?

shared folder not retained on external hard drive
I had made a shared folder on my external hard drive, which is connected by
USB cable to a PC running Windows XP.
I have used it without problems, logging in from my (Vista) notebook.
