Someting on this Laptop is blocking power to the PCMCIA slot, HELP!

A Dell Latitude D630, a Dell Latitude E6500 and the Panasonic Toughbook
CF-52.
All have been running fine for months.

We use Verizon Air Cards that use the PCMCIA slot. Verizon card model number
PC770 if it matters.

to other hardware...

What is set different so that on some PCs I can see the shared resources and others not?

I have XP PRO machines on a Windows 2003 Server network in a domain.

Some computers when I drill in through Windows Explorer\My Network
Places\Microsoft Windows Network\Domain\Computer
I can see...
