Default to Shutdown on exit ?

Thanks Oliver,

I went with shutdown -s -t 3 -c "Shutting Down Now"

Had some trouble initially because I called the batch file shutdown.bat
(causing an endless loop). I renamed it to...

Default to Shutdown on exit ?

Isn't there any way of changing a registry entry or something
so that when the 3 choices pop up (Standby, Turn Off, Restart)
it defaults to Turn Off ?

I have Windows xp pro. When I go Start - Turn Off Computer, it always
defaults to Standby not Turn Off.

How do I change the default to Turn Off ?

Help with removing a program

Another option would be to use regedit, and remove all references to
Sonicstage in the registry.

Sometimes background apps, e.g. AV can interfere with the install process

Hi,

I have just upgraded to xp pro from win 98SE.
I used My Vital Agent - network monitor on 98SE.

I have just Googled "My Vital Agent" and came up with nothing. Is there
any equivelent program...
