SAM cracking

Futher to Malke's answer, it is time to invest in a server and get AD
running.
Local SAM databases will always be vulnerable to attack.
Moving the accounts to AD will definitely help your...

Changing the cached credentials password without domain access

You must VPN into the corporate network or plug in to the office so that you
are authenticating against the domain to change your cached credentials
