Install Messenger on a closed network

Can Windows Messenger be installed on a closed network that does not have
access to the internet? If so, how is it done?

Windows explorer errer

I'm running XP Pro on a Sony Vaio laptop with 1gb of memory. Everything has
been fine until a week ago when I suddenly started getting Windows Explorer
error messages immediately after logging on...

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I've followed your instructions and
the pastes are below. The first is the windows explorer error, second is the
COM+ error, third is the IE error...
