Convert to wmv.
Import to movie maker and save using the email option which will bring the
size down again.

Kenneth,
I'm not sure if this is the right option, because I thik it makes a jpeg
slideshow on a dvd, and this is not very compatible with dvd players, you
need to author a dvd.

RA, new dvd players will play jpeg slideshows, so you don't have to author a
dvd, but for compatibility you are best off making a proper dvd.

I have a problem with my screen...

Have you done anything to see if it is a ram or video card issue?
If not do so.
Also check the pc isn't getting to hot, give it a good clean inside and make
sure all fans are working ok.

Read VOB files

You wouldn't "capture it", you'd just copy it from the disc to the pc hard

*Edited* movie maker 2.1 music sync problem

You don't say what types of files you are using.

Movie maker has trouble with things like mpeg, divx video and mp3 music, so
stick to wmv or dv-avi for video and wmv/wma/wav for audio.
