Not needed to change printer setting for a while but did just before
Christmas.

The printer properties were totally screwed, only A4 listed, no headings
for orientation etc.

Remove all drivers, down loaded latest from HP, reinstalled but still
broken.

OK the printer is a bit long in the tooth but it only appears to have
become broken after the 1809 update.

Any help or comments gratefully received.

Try using the HP Print and Scan Doctor, I've had good luck with it at some
clients.
