Default Initializing a new disk?

In article ,
says...

I have plugged in a 1TB HDD and Windows Explorer
does not show it.

In Disk Management it shows up as "Disk 3" and
unallocated.

No amount of right clicking will induce the
"Initialize Disk" wizard to appear.

Is there anything else to do?

Peter

I went thru that once. Turned out it's simply "picky" about where you
right click. In the bopttom pane where it shows the drive try right
clicking on both sections of the row that is displayed. If memory serves
me right you get the option when you right click on the smaller left
hand box but not on the larger box to the right.
