Default MalwareVytes Free will not install.

Additionally, this may be related.

FireFox will download but I cannot use Firefox to get to the download
folder. Clicking on the Folder icon does nothing. I use Everything to
find the file download and it is found in this folder.:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Downloads

Only one user. User is Administrator and no password needed.

Attempting to install Malwarebytes I get the language selector and then
the error.

I did the
set TEMP=C:\Windows\temp
set TMP=C:\Windows\tmp

but this errors too
cd "%USERPROFILE%\Downloads"

at cmd
More %USERPROFILE%
says
Cannot access file C:\Documents

Based on my setup, is not the cmd window already Administrator level ?
Or do I have to do more there ?

This is Win XP Pro.

Thank you for your help.
