Default Running screen saver

Hi,

Any usual screensaver does not take up too much hard disk space or memory. Screensavers are designed
to protect the monitor screen while they are not being used for a prolonged period, and hence it is
recommended to use one.

Does running a screen saver use too much memory? At work
our computer person told us not to use screen savers. We
are running 8 computers on a network. Currently we only
use about a quarter of our disk space on each computer.
