I have been asked to make a Protab 14 laptop useable.
It was working but I didn't have a password.
The BIOS has been hacked to prevent booting from USB
devices. There is no option to set the boot order and
trying to boot from the troubleshooting page gives a
message ,"This device has no USB boot options."
I managed to get into EFI shell and delete some files
so Windows would not start. I was then able to boot from
a Windows 10 64 bit DVD. I have been unable to find
drivers to get the inbuilt sound or the WiFi working.
I am looking for a table with a short leg.

Did you look it up ? It is a ultra low capacity laptop with 32 gig
storage. I would doubt that it would run win 10. What was the os
installed ?

It came with Windows 10 as standard. It has a quad core Atom CPU,
so it runs fast enough to be useful.
The problem is finding drivers for the WiFi and sound.
The battery is good enough to stream youtube via WiFi for 4.5 hours.
Is it worth trying to get working? Probably not.
