Default Itunes not playing digital copy or allowing me to transfer to ipod

Ok, I posted this once but I was apparently not specific enough. That's
cool.
I just still can't figure out why I cannot play my downloaded digital
copies
of my movies. I transferred them to Itunes and it successfully downloaded
them. It is telling me when i synch my ipod that I'm not authorized to
play
them on my computer. Why? I paid for them and used the codes to download
them. I also tried to play them in windows media player. The following is
the
original post I made before to fill you in on the rest.

I downloaded a copy of Wanted and The Dark Knight to iTunes and when the
download was complete a message popped up that Sonic DLA was not capable
of
editing or add ons but didn't say it wasn't capable of playing the movie.
Both movies downloaded but when I try to play them a screen pops up with
no
sound and a scrambled picture of color and lines. These are legal copies
that
I bought and used the codes for. This is annoying as ____. I have a 32-bit
version of XP. Can't find an upgrade for Sonic DLA either. Please help. I
would like to be able to transfer the movies to my ipod. It will not allow
me
to do this either. How do I solve this problem? I can't be the only one
having this problem.

You are in a muddle.
You list itunes, downloads, Sonic DLA and Win media player.
So safe to assume you purchased your downloads from the itunes store.
Goto apple.com and click the support link.
You will need to download Quicktime.
Then click the "ipod+itunes" tab and scroll and locate the "tutorial" link.
Not only do you need Quicktime to view downloaded movies, but also
to view the tutorials.
Sonic and WMP. - You seem to be under the impression that movie
downloads from itunes are DVD mpeg format - nope!
They are mpeg-4 H264. And they are copy protected.
The error you receive that "not authorized" to play on your comp may
be resolved when you install Quicktime. But you may have to go into
the apple.com sites forums for help/guidence.
Sonic and WMP cannot play the downloads.
I know of NO *free* software to convert and remove copy protection
from itunes movie downloads, but you may like to try he
