Default Un install and then re install

Which mouse settings did you review...If you open device mgr,expand the
mouse tree,R.click on the hardware,select "properties",a set of mouse
settings are available..Also,one can R.click the mouse hardware,select
"uninstall" or "disable",with uninstall,after,restart xp,xp will reinstall
it for
you.Or,if its a usb mouse,after uninstall,exit xp,shutdown pc.Connect mouse
to a diffrent usb connection,restart pc.

I have a second desktop computer with a problem. Same problem after
using a different mouse.
Once in a while I can do the single click on the mouse. (which I prefer)
But almost always the mouse will do a double click.
I am wondering if there is a way that I can un install the mouse, and then
reinstall the mouse. Hopefully this will solve the double click issue.
I checked into the mouse settings and the computer says that the mouse
is functioning very good. I did not set the mouse for double click.

I had asked this question about 3 weeks ago, but I never seen the post.
So I re submitted the same post, and as before I never saw the post.
Perhaps this time I will be able to post this question.
