Default Other Newsgroups?

Can you talk about other stuff execpt hardware? i don`t think
Microsoft or Windows will know about it will they?

Posting about, for example, why Outlook Express won't allow access to
attachments obviously has nothing to do with hardware. If you post off
topic, expect to get ignored or harangued by the user community that
habitates the newsgroup.

Posting in HTML format is usually considered a wrong format. Many users
will have already configured their newsreader client to read in
plain-text to avoid the fluff of HTML since it is rarely required,
resulting in the HTML version of post appearing as an attachment to it.
Many participants will not bother to open the HTML attachment and may,
as a matter of security, never open any attachments. So don't waste
HTML in posts where that formatting is extraneous fluff that is ignored,
considered hazardous, or simply wastes more space in your posts for a
plain-text copy and a duplicated HTML copy. In OE, you can select which
format to use for e-mail and for newsgroups, and they can be different.
Configure for plain-text for newsgroups, please.

Also, the signature delimiter of "-- " means everything below it is your
signature. Newsreaders may strip off signatures since often it is
egocentric fluff, may contain links, and everything under it may get
stripped out in a reply to your post (which would then also include your
message). Basically you posted your question as part of your signature.
Since you are using Outlook Express, and since you obviously recorded a
signature which is also configured to get added to every message, you
wrongly added your message *after* (and within) your signature instead
of before it.
