I was awarded the MVP from the Word Product Development Group in 1997. I =
then changed to a friends name and posted till I (him) was awarded a =
Windows MVP. As MS cancelled the program then I posted for over two =
years in a false name before I got the MVP in that name.

As the MVP award is changed to being only a marketing tool, now I =
sabotage all attempts to award it to me as it is now worthless.

This is the first year in a while MS hasn't spammed me.

But still you are saying a complete abusive flip has the right to waste =
other's time here. This really amazes me that abusive, thieving, scum =
have some right to be that way.

I don't remember anyone saying that this was a problem, the guy just
said that it was annoying to him. So he asked for assistance in
removing it. You find this kind of post annoying and have voiced you
opinion, where is the difference? I can see only one, he was polite,
you were not. You have gone out of your way to be insulting to
people. If you think that what I or anyone has posted on this
newsgroup is incorrect or pointless, then fine point it out to them,
to stoop to the level that you have is just sad.

Why do you expect I'm going to treat a moron abusing this newsgroup
with respect. Explain to me the problem? How is it a problem? Who
stares at a welcome screen? And even if your mates do do that what
difference does it make if there is an EN showing? How does the EN
prevent tasks from being performed?

Perhaps you visit your 5 daughters too often.

Unfortunately the http://www.mvps.org/links.html lists present AND=20
*past* awardees of the MVP title. So someone using an e-mail address =

at=20
mvps.org does NOT equate to being a *current* MVP awardee. The award=20
lasts only a year. I'm sure all alumni groups have their =

embarrasments.=20
In a Google Groups search, I haven't found a message from him that=20
included "MVP" in a signature, so he probably hasn't had that award =

for=20
awhile. Looks like he got the mvps.org e-mail address around =

25-12-02.=20
A Google search on David's posts seems to indicate that he generally=20
provides help but I have noticed some of his overly corrosive ones, =

too.=20
Just chalk it up to him having a bad day.
=20
It is unfortunate that users have to go hunting around at=20
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/MVP/MVP.mspx to see who are the=20
*current* awardee(s) in each category rather than Microsoft providing =

a=20
sorted list of awardee names. If the current awardee lists their=20
category then it is easy to look up; otherwise, trying to qualify the=20
status of a poster as a *current* MVP is a PITA.
