DB - your suggestion did the trick! I had initially tried system restore &
that did not work. that was the 1st thing I thought of. However, i took
your advice and re-booted computer & clicked F8 while it was re-starting.
Then "last known good configuration". It worked like a charm! Computer is
now back to normal!!!! I thought I was going to have to do something way
more complicated than that! LOL I also fixed my webcam issue. I took a
flash drive stick and copied the webcam driver and webcam icon off another
computer and then installed flash drive in my laptop and just dragged them
onto desk top. That was super easy as well! You are a lifesaver! Have a
great day! I'll return when I have my next computer crisis!!!! LOL
(hopefully not anytime soon but it WILL happen, i just know it!)
