Default Disable Internet Explorer 11

But you can reinstall Windows and you can download it. Either use the
DVDs you hopefully made when you got the machine or use the option in
Windows itself. If you don't know how to do that, go to the support web
site for the machine you bought. You can download a version that will
work with the product key affixed to the computer and won't come with
the bloat that OEMs put on their machines.

Yes I have restore copies made. I have been using computers long enough
to know to make backups of any OS you are using. Thanks for asking.
No Dell does not have any links to download Windows isos or any restore
to factory default disks. Nor do they have any available if you call
them. I know people that have tried. Also there are many complaints
about this on the web. Dell isn't putting much if any bloat on there
computers any more. There are a couple of Dell utilities on it. And
McAfee Internet Security 30 day trial nothing else. I wouldn't call
that bloatware myself.

That is a restore and not a reinstall. Yes I know how to make and use a
restore point. If you use your latest restore point you restore those
changes. If you use a restore point before you get rid of bloatware then
you have to deal with that again.

I'm not talking about that kind of restore. Again, sigh, go to the
website of the computer manufacturer to find out how to reinstall
Windows. On my Spanish computer, it says Recuperation Drive. That drive
has the original Windows the machine came with. How to access it can
only be known by going to the computer manufacturer's web site.
You can not download the Windows 8.1
iso with an OEM key you Have to have a retail key.

Did the machine come with 8.0 or 8.1?

I know how to boot up to a do a factory default restore.
It came with 8.1 OEM

See
http://www.eightforums.com/installat...1-oem-key.html

It stated at that site;
"You can't download from Microsoft's page, if you have Windows 8.1 OEM
product key.'
And it was repeated a couple of times. If their solution works they
wouldn't say where to get a Windows iso. I have found plenty of sites
that state download it here in the past but they were either trying to
lure you in for something else or what they had to offer was an illegal
copy.
Yes MS has generic keys out there but they wont work at MS"s site as the
were put out for the preview version of 8.1. After it quits working you
have to buy the retail version if you want it. And as being that 8.1 has
been released I doubt that you can even get the preview version any more.
The restore points wont do me any good as this problem I've had is from
the start. It wasn't one that developed as changes were made to the system.
Resetting to factory settings wont do any good either for the same reason.
How can I clean it up if I don't know what the problem is?
