I just got a Activate Windows pop-up
on the 780!? Isn't that weird? It happened
so fast I couldn't take a screenshot.

Has it gone Not Genuine again ?

From an Administrator Command Prompt, try

slmgr /dlv

and it will say something about "activated"
or "grace period", where "grace period" needs
the license key to be entered so it can
activate.

The System control panel may also contain a string
indicating activation.

No it has not gone genuine it just had the pop-up

I just noticed that it says under
license status, I have 25 days
remaining. So does that mean in 25
days it will revert to not genuine?

Robert

That means you never gave it the license key,
after you reinstalled it.

Or, you unticked "automatically activate"
after giving it the license key.

The worst case scenario is that I will
loose the present HD and it will go not
genuine and I can't get Win 7 back. In
that event I will just put in my backup
Win 7 HD and maybe clone over this one.

I don't understand why it did not accept
the license key but we will give it another
try and maybe this time it will work.
