Default How to post text from Windows message without typing it

It's the only complete guide to using a keyboard. You would have known about Ctrl + C/V for messages boxes.

Hello David.

I cannot use your attachment. I can't save it or open it.

I guess attachments are not allowed in forums ?

What's your point anyway ?

Thanks,
Tony

Attached is a list of keys in Windows. It prints to about 22 pages. It also
has a 1/2 written diagnostic section.

My apologies to everyone that replied to my problem.

I just realized that when a windows message pops up, you can simply do a
ctrl-c and use something like Notepad to ctrl-v. It pastes the error in
text format.

Sorry folks. I never knew you could do that.

All this time, whenever i wanted to save a message window, i would
alt-print
screen, open paint and ctrl-v, then save the paint file.

Thanks,
Tony

Hello.

Does anybody know how to get the text from a windows message into a forum
message without typing it verbatim from the message itself ?

I ask a lot of questions on these forums and it has been very helpful and
i would like to continue to do so. But when you have to post an error
message you get from windows, the only way i know to do it is to type the
message.

I tried pasting the message to the forum in HTML format, but some people
don't use HTML and therefore do not see what i am posting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tony
