Why? They have in the past and lost money on all of the development
costs. So you believe developers should do things to lose money?
Manufactures from time to time even try to sell Linux machines with
drivers they created. Problem always have been they just don't sell.
Even WalMart even tried to sell Linux models for a short time and nobody
wanted to buy one. Linux users just want everything for free, even the
machines.
