Just wondering what free antivirus people are running here. I have been
running Avast Free for years but it is really getting to be a pain with
it's constant program updates (not definition updates)

I don't know if you can call it "constant":

but there are some improvements in several updates, so...

Personally I
think the older interface was better.

You act as if you daily open the UI. I just install it and then let it
run. I don't really care about the UI, so why should you?

Last, but not least, It's _free_ ! You get what you pay for...

Not arguing your point at all but since I am on this machine daily and
it tells me daily about updates with balloon notifications than that is
what I would call nagging. As for the interface well the older one did
not have things like "grimefighter" and "software updater" etc. Once
again I say that it was my fault for allowing it but.... I think it is
the dumbing down of programs that I dislike.
