Default scan for file corruption

Does it matter which XP cd you use? I have the original, with SP1, and then
Dell sent me another one, with SP2 on it. Would like to know, since I'm
really having a problem with my non-expandable windows boxes decreasing in
size.
Thanks for any help.

1. Go to Start Run and type: CMD , and hit enter.
2. In the Command Prompt window type: SFC /SCANNOW
and hit enter. Have your Windows XP CD available.
