Micky,

This turned out to be one bad file, viewer32.dll, I think
it is spelled. In the plugins folder.

(How on earth did you find that that's the cause of the problem??!)

If it means anything -- my install of Eudora 7.1.0.9 does not have a
"viewer32.dll" -- it has a "Viewer.dll".

Can I take it from the fact that you have a "Program Files (x86)"
directory (folder) that you're using a 64-bit OS (probably Windows 7 or
later)?

I don't know if that makes any difference, but I assume (since Micky
posted his original to the Eudora and XP 'groups) that he's using XP-32
(as am I, but I don't have Eudora on this machine so can't check).
