Hello.

Once in a while, my updated 64-bit W7 HPE SP1's Volume Mixer's Applications'
System Sounds get lowered even if I put it back. Why?
https://image.prntscr.com/image/koiY...pBW8CIqN3w.gif for a screen
capture/shot of it. The only way to fix it is to reboot my old desktop PC.

Thank you in advance.

"As soon as I launch a call in Skype it lowers my speaker volume
for me automatically. Took me ages to figure out why it kept
lowering. The problem was that Skype doesn't automatically set
it back to what it was after a call."

Oh wow, I can click on its "System Sounds" icon to its Sound's Communications tab.
It was set as "Reduce the volume of other sounds by 80%". I tried "Do nothing" and
retested. It didn't change. But what was my communications activity? :/

I don't know how you're supposed to debug this stuff.

If each "control movement" generated a log entry, you
might figure it out that way. But without a log file,
these settings changes could come from just about
any piece of software.
