Yes, and I think it's not especially relevant. Windows was just DOS with
a pretty face at the time. But that's a quibble. :-)

I'll grant you that the WYSIWIG version was made for mac-os before it
was ported to DOS/Windows.


that's what i originally said, except for it being ported, which it was
very clearly not (especially *to* dos), nor did i mention dos.
