I lost my internet connection three times in the last two days
and called Frontier, and in the process of powering off to
unplug the modem I forgot about the 780! In any case, I
unplugged the external backup,..

I plugged it into the 8500 and it seems OK, .. whew!!!!

I don't think I want to deal with the bad Win7 HD anymore.
Since I can't get it out of the F1 loop unless you know of
a way to get rid of the F1 because it will never function
to accept the Rescue CD in that environment.

Thoughts/suggestions?
