Default Problem getting 192.168.1.1 on Linksys Router...

Liz, If you think you changed the IP of the router to 192.168.1.101 then
just open IE and type in http://192.168.1.101 hit enter and if that was
what you changed it to then you will get the prompt for a username /
password. If that does not work then you'll have to reset the router by
taking a paperclip and hold in the reset switch on the router for about 10 -
15 seconds, NOTE: THIS RETURNS THE ROUTER TO THE FACTORY SETTINGS! All
custom IP, Firewall, ect. will be lost!! Hope this helps. Jeff F

I downloaded WinMX and was trying to adjust some parameters. Don't

ask what I was thinking, but I accidently changed my IP address (on the main
page) to something like 192.168.1.101, and now I cant connect to
http://192.168.1.1 at all. :\ Anyone know how I can access it so I can fix
the problem? Thanks!

Also, I'm sure the answer is no, but is there anyway to be 100% free

of a firewall with a router?
