its now done & here's the results:

My total was 8932 (using IE8), 8908 with add-ons disabled. I'm on cable
broadband (12Mbps, or higher, for bandwidth). I'm using a 7-year old
host (AMD Athlon XP 3200+ single core, 2GB RAM). Something is really
slowing down your IE, like maybe an add-on. See if it speeds up if you
run IE with all add-ons disabled.

IE (any version) has the slowest Javascript engine (Jscript). Firefox
is about 3-4 times faster, Chrome is even faster, and Safari bounces
around in its new releases to be slightly faster or slower than Chrome.
So anything involving Javascript for IE is slow (and why Microsoft
better get their head out of their butts if they want to compete as a
platform for the evolving AJAX web apps and desktops showing up).

Nothing would run from that site unless Javascript was working in your
web browser. They build the pages dynamically using Javascript. If
scripting isn't enabled, all you get is a HTML/HTML web page (i.e.,
it's empty). So that it runs means Javascript *is* enabled in your web
browser. It is the bank site that farked; however, your score is
exceedingly poor which indicates you have something severely slowing the
performance of your web browser.
