Default SP2 causing connectivity issue

thank you, thank you. Seemed to do the trick, rebooted
twice and connected fine, except the box was still not
checked and after a few minutes I received the "limited
or no connectivity message except everthing seems to be
working????????????

thanks for your help, if you have any idea why I am still
getting the error message, I would appriciate it, you can
write me direct at

thanks again

thanks, but that is my problem, it keeps unchecking

that
Automatic wireless connection check box, so everytime I
reboot, I have to go into properties of the wireless
connection and recheck the box and highlight my network
and then it will work.

why does it keep unchecking that option?

since I did the SP2 update, I am having problems with

my
wireless connection. I have to keep going into
properties and re-checking the box to let Windows
configure my wireless network. Untill I do this each
time I reboot or change from wired to wireless, It
usually connects to the wireless, and says "limited

or
no
connectivity" but I can not access the internet

until I
go into the connection ICON and re-
check the box.

anyone know how to fix this?

Try rerunning the network connection wizard once or

twice with the
Ethernet disabled. Others have found that this helps

with this type of
connection problem. Also, check that the Wireless

Configuration Service
is set to Automatic.

If the vendor's wireless configuration utility is

running in the
background, it can take priority away from WZC. From

the Run command,
type msconfig[enter key], Startup tab. Review the

checked startups and
if the vendors config utility is checked, uncheck it.

Open Task
Manager, see if you can see the config utility in

processes and
terminate it there, or reboot. See if that helps.
