Yes. They were caught by surprise in the vast number of priated copies
reporting in. The volume of data no doubt overwhelmed the poor folks.
By off-loading some of the work to the client computers -- so called
"distributed processing" -- the analysts at Micros~1 can concentrate on big
trends and not be buried in the details.
