That would be my opinion if I were a professional programmer and had a solid
basis for said opinion. Back in the DOS days a low level format of a (much
smaller) HD and the reloading DOS took about 25 minutes because there were
so many diskettes. Another 25 to load software, add config.sys and
autoexec.bat, and the machine was usable again. Given how fast tech is
today, I just don't understand *updates* that take an entire evening.
