You are using Google Groups. Google Groups does not carry the Windows 7
newsgroup. You will not find the Windows 7 newsgroup anywhere on Google
Groups, no matter how long or hard you look.


Two different things you can do:

1. Use a real newsreader program to read the group alt.windows7.general.
Sign up with a text-only news server such as one of these:
news.individual.net -- see: https://news.individual.net/
Eternal September -- see: https://www.eternal-september.org/
Albasani -- see: http://albasani.net/index.html.en
AIOE -- see: https://news.aioe.org/ (no sign-up required for AIOE

2. Use a different web service other than Google Groups. For example:
Narkive ................... https://alt.windows7.general.narkive.com/
1001Newsgroups ............ http://www.1001newsgroups.com/l-alt....7.general.html
PCBanter.net .............. http://www.pcbanter.net/forumdisplay.php?f=48
